What we're looking for

This role is based in Venues Bars, where you will experience a range of shifts from gigs, themed clubnights such as Fruity, and a multitude of other events in the union. The majority of shifts are evening shifts – so if you are a night owl, this may be the role for you!

We’re looking for team players with an enthusiastic approach to their duties, great communication skills, the ability to be innovative and creative, alongside a willingness to learn new skills. Applicants do not need to have previous bar or catering experience to apply; you will be fully trained for the role. There are fantastic opportunities to develop your skills through in-house training courses, allowing good future career prospects.

What you get in return

The benefits you can enjoy include a staff guestlist for gigs and events, holiday pay, extensive opportunities for learning and further development, NUS TOTUM Card, onsite venue staff discounts, discounted travel card, and discounted gym membership.

Sounds good?

For further details, please download an application pack below. In your application, please explain how you meet the person specification and what you can bring to the team here at LUU. If you have any further questions please contact unihr@leeds.ac.uk.
