Salary: £13.11 per hour

Working pattern:  8 hours per week, term time only

Must have good availability between 07:00 – 17:30 Monday - Friday and be willing to work some evenings and the occasional Saturday for special events e.g. Leeds Ball & University Open Days.

About the role

Located at the heart of the Union building, Common Ground is a vibrant and cosy space to catch up with friends and studies. With a selection of hot and cold drinks, pastries, sandwiches, and more, it is a popular lunch destination.
We are looking for someone with a passion for Cafe’s, Coffee and Customer service. You’ll be ensuring that standards are maintained and financial targets achieved, whilst effectively Supervising and developing the team of staff that you work with. You’ll also be supporting theCafe lead in the development of a dynamic and stimulating experience as our team evolves and continues to grow.
Staff perks include: guestlist for clubnights and gigs, staff discount in all our outlets and we are closed over Xmas & New year so you get 2 weeks off that doesn't come out of your holiday entitlement!
