About The Role
Leeds University Union is growing its Marketing and Communications department, creating an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that's at the forefront of using data and insight to make sure every student loves their time at Leeds.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, digitally-savvy assistant to support the marketing and operations of our Stylus and Fruity brands. From managing website updates and scheduling social content to collaborating with creatives and analysing performance, this is a brilliant opportunity to get stuck into the behind-the-scenes action of Leeds’ student nightlife.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth delivery of digitally-focussed marketing campaigns that promote our high-energy events. From updating the Stylus website and optimising listings for SEO, to scheduling punchy content across Social Media, your attention to detail will help drive ticket sales and build hype for our events.
You’ll work closely with photographers, designers, and the wider marketing team to make sure everything lands on time, on brand and in style. You’ll also be the go-to person for keeping digital touchpoints – including Linktree, email newsletters and wayfinding screens – fresh and engaging.

About You
You’ll be highly organised, proactive and confident using digital tools. You love being part of a buzzing team and take pride in delivering great work, even when juggling multiple deadlines.
You’ll be comfortable updating websites, using email platforms, and scheduling social media. If you’ve got an eye for trends, know your way around a CMS, and thrive in environments where no two days are the same – we want to hear from you.
You’ll need:
- Experience managing websites, digital content, and social media scheduling
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Confidence working with multiple stakeholders including creatives and promoters
- Working knowledge of SEO and CMS tools
- A can-do attitude and a passion for music, events, or youth culture
- A collaborative approach, with great attention to detail
