About the role:
In this varied role, you will support the delivery of an effective system of academic representation, work directly with student Academic Representatives, and help coordinate key events like the Leeds Partnership Awards. It’s an ideal opportunity to gain insight into a member-led charity while making a tangible impact on the student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for academic representation initiatives, including data management and report writing.
- Support the recruitment, development, and engagement of student Academic Representatives.
- Assist with the planning, promotion, and delivery of Faculty Engagement Team events and initiatives.
- Collate, research, and analyse student feedback to help identify key issues and shape improvements.
- Create digital communications, manage social media content, and keep website pages updated.
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across email, phone, and face-to-face.
- Strong organizational abilities with a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Solid IT literacy (Microsoft Office suite, cloud systems).
- A genuine belief in student-led representation and a commitment to LUU's values.
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours (some late nights or weekends).
- Desirable: Prior experience in administration, event support, customer/stakeholder engagement, or data analysis.
