The Sound of Students in Leeds, we are Leeds Student Radio, broadcasting from Leeds University Union. Following an award-winning year, Leeds Student Radio (LSR) is looking for its next Station Manager.

Leeds University Union (LUU) is a charity that helps over 38,000 students Love their time at Leeds. Located at the heart of campus, the Union is a space to meet people, make new friends and get involved.

LSR has a mix of core shows that students can apply to participate in, across our Breakfast, Hometime, Sports, News, Music, Weekend and Daytime teams. Whether it is presenting, producing, tech or podcasting that someone is interested in, there is a place for everyone in LSR. We know that not all students like the same thing, and we are proud to be the only radio station in Leeds with an eclectic schedule to cover everybody's tastes. Student members don't need any experience, just a lot of enthusiasm.

What we’re looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in media, communications and student engagement. As the Station Manager, you will empower the 18-person student committee to deliver exceptional experiences for its 300+ members.
