Leeds University Union is growing its Marketing and Communications department, creating an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that‘s at the forefront of using data and insight to make sure every student loves their time at Leeds.

This role is perfect for an organised, creative thinker who is passionate about brand and audience-driven solutions. The role involves project managing key campaigns such as Freshers, Varsity and our student elections, and driving re-engagement with our commercial and student support services. This will involve working closely with stakeholders both internal and external, including student groups and the university.You’ll work with the Marketing Manager to define the scope and goals of key projects, playing a key role in idea formation in the project planning phase, and planning and scheduling project timelines.
About you
With experience in a marketing role working across various channels, including print, digital, social, engaging with a range of stakeholders both external and internal, you will have an interest in working for a charity that aims to ensure every student at the University of Leeds loves their time at university.
You’ll need:
- Experience working in a marketing team
- Experience coordinating/managing multiple marketing campaigns
- Experience delegating work, setting deadlines and self managing your own workload
- Detailed knowledge of marketing techniques and industry trends
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deal with a diverse range of people.
