Leeds University Union (LUU) runs two busy exciting retail units, Gear and Union shop. Gear is our branded clothing and merchandise store. Union Shop is our go to store for all stationery needs, along with greetings cards and gifts.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a Part Time Retail Assistant to work Monday to Friday between 10am-2pm across both stores. These are the busiest times of the day and when we need an extra pair of hands.

About you

The successful candidate will love working with a diverse and engaged team. They will be a people person who thrives in a busy environment, delivering exceptional customer service and retail standards and come from a customer service background. This is the ideal position for someone who may have other commitments during the day, and we can be slightly flexible with start and finish times, as long as the 4-hour shift covers our busiest period; for example the shift could be 11am-3pm.

Voluntary overtime may be available at certain busy times of the year, such as graduations, Welcome Week and exam periods.
