Salary: £13,291 (based on the full time equivalent salary of £24,257 per annum)
Part time - 20 hours per week, all year round (Monday to Friday, 11am to 3pm with occasional evening and weekend shifts)

As Retail Assistant in Gear and Union Shop, you'll be joining our highly successful and vibrant Retail team at Leeds University Union. Gear is our clothing store which exclusively sells University of Leeds branded clothing and Union Shop is our newest store, which sells stationery, greetings cards and gifts.

Leeds University Union is a special place to work and what we do is pretty special too. We are a charity that helps over 38,000 students to love their time at Leeds. Located at the heart of campus, the Union is a space for our students to meet people, make new friends, and get involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of Gear and Union Shop.
• Assist customers with their purchases and queries.
• Maintain the visual standards of both stores.
• Be proactive in restocking products.

What we're looking for:

• A passion for great customer service.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with the ability to use your own initiative.
• A team-oriented and personable approach.
• Cash handling and previous retail experience are highly desirable!
