Full time - 36.5 hours per week - 5 days out of 7, worked on a rota basis between 8am and 6:30pm

About the role:
As our Retail Coordinator, you will take active ownership of our day-to-day operations, bridging the gap between hands-on team leadership and retail execution. This is an ideal role for an ambitious supervisor or team leader looking to develop advanced skills in the retail industry. You will coordinate essential workflows, drive stock efficiency, build effective staff rotas, and guide a service-driven team to hit key financial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations & Scheduling: Coordinate day-to-day trading activities to ensure stores run efficiently. Lead the planning, creation, and communication of staff schedules.
- Stock & E-Commerce Management: Understand and oversee the product purchasing process, monitor stock levels, coordinate order placement, and manage the end-to-end workflow of our independent stores' website (including web and bespoke orders).
- Team Leadership: Coordinate, guide, and coach the floor team. Facilitate performance tracking using LUU development tools to help individuals achieve their best.
- Commercial Drive: Monitor, analyze, and report on store sales to ensure financial returns meet budgets and KPI targets.
- Compliance & Standards: Maintain an up-to-date awareness of student trends and needs, using this insight to coordinate operational adjustments and foster a service-driven culture.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-turnover retail environment...perfect for a supervisor looking to step up!
- A passion for great customer service and an awareness of student market trends.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills, along with competence using standard IT platforms, such as Microsoft Office.
- A team-oriented, personable, and energetic approach, with a strong enthusiasm for learning and an ability to embrace change.
- Cash handling experience and coaching skills are highly desirable!
