What we're looking for

LUU is looking for customer-focused staff who want to make a real difference to the way we provide security and safety at Leeds University Union. Our aim is to have friendly and proactive Security staff, ensuring that our members and the public have the best possible customer experience from the moment they arrive at our building until they leave at the end of the night. As part of the Security team, your role is to assist with ensuring the safety and security of staff and customers, as well as the security and upkeep of the building.

On an evening, in addition to the regular duties of a Security Assistant Manager, you will take responsibility for running a variety of events, such as our regular Friday night 'Fruity' club night, or a gig in one of our venues.

You will need to hold a professional Security Industry Authority (SIA) License.
