About the role:
The successful candidate would work within the LUU Student Events and Programmes team and assist the Student Events Lead in supporting student groups, enabling them to host exceptional events at LUU.
Some of the main responsibilities would include:
- To organise, coordinate and manage student led events with societies and the Student Exec within LUU.
- To manage the student event booking form, supporting them throughout the planning process from initial design to implementation.
- Events Support for Student led programming such as Celebrate and World Unite Festival.
- To work closely with internal teams, student groups and the Student Exec to support the delivery of activity across the calendar year.
- To support with the society event health and safety procedures including managing society risk assessments.
LUU offers development opportunities through training, job shadowing and wider organisational involvement in key projects and initiatives. The position is predominantly office based, working mostly office hours, but will allow a percentage of hybrid working. This role also requires applicants to work some weekends and evenings.
