This fixed term role will involve working with the Political Engagement Team here at LUU to ensure that student voices are heard, and our members are able to make change. It will allow you to see and support a sector leading democratic structure – the Better Forums, Lead LUU, Liberate LUU and more. You’ll be supporting the Political Engagement Team to deliver a series of projects that centre student led change. This will be a great opportunity for you to develop your communications and project management skills in a political environment.

We are looking for a motivated individual with an appetite for supporting and empowering our members, with a particular aptitude for understanding the diversity of our student membership and the specific needs of marginalised groups. The ideal candidate will be able to solve problems independently, have a creative mindset and be willing to work as part of a larger team.
